Ticket forwarding

Anyone know how ticket forwarding works? I cannot make the Chelsea match but when I log into my account I cannot forward ticket to a friend. Its only giving me the ticket exchange option. I've transferred previous tickets but this time I'm not sure why it is not working. Any clues?

Excellent. Thanks for the information. Stressful time with family things so had tried to get sorted early. Perhaps not!

Forwarding option is only active less than a week before the game. From memory, normally Monday lunchtime for a Saturday KO.
